Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary as a free event made possible by a volunteer team and located in the Little Tokyo district of Los Angeles. Their goal is to produce a festival that grows each year, illuminates specific cultural perceptions of a historic city, creates more visibility, publicity and tourism, and exposes the mainstream population to the diverse Japanese/Japanese American culture and history.
