Founded in 1965, and is devoted to stimulating partnerships between the arts and business that benefit both sectors and the communities they serve. In 1980 the Council began expanding some services to serve the entire country.
Arts for LA is an arts advocacy organization working to strengthen the public value of arts and arts education in the 88 municipalities and 80 school districts in LA County.
CALIFORNIA ALLIANCE FOR ARTS EDUCATION
The CAAE promotes, supports,and advocates visual and performing arts education for preschool through post-secondary students in California schools. It also has an online arts education directory.

CENTER FOR CULTURAL INNOVATION

NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS
Established in 1965 to foster, preserve, and promote excellence in the arts, to bring art to all Americans, and to provide leadership in arts education. An independent agency of the federal government, the Endowment is the nation's largest annual funder of the arts, bringing great art to all 50 states, including rural areas, inner cities, and military bases.
Sweet Relief Musicians Fund provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems.
