PASADENA, CITY OF ART AND SCIENCE
The Wisdom Arts Laboratory (WAL) is an education laboratory and art studio serving the community with the wisdom inherent in the arts. WAL offers children’s classes and intergenerational programming connecting the arts, nature, and community awareness in an inventive environment. Workshops have a whimsical bend with a smattering of logical reasoning, common sense, science and ethics. Students are encouraged to work independently, to reflect on their work, and to communicate ideas with constructive respect. WAL’s educators are a grassroots collaboration of artists and experts nurturing and encouraging creative thinking.
Emerging arts organizations and projects that do not yet have 501(c)(3) designations may apply to the Pasadena Arts Council to act as a fiscal sponsor, allowing the organization to seek funding from grant makers, donors and corporations.
