Three Roses Players was founded March 16, 2010 with a main purpose of supporting the L.A. Theatre community, playwrights, actors and the audiences that keep us alive. Their focus is on NEW WORK, WORLD PREMIERES and WEST COAST PREMIERS as well as plays never before seen on Three Roses Players’ Stage. The energy behind Three Roses Players derives from the true collaboration between the playwrights, the actors, directors and all involved in creating great theatre and memories to be cherished. There is nothing more exciting than seeing the glint in a playwright’s eye the first time they see their work realized on the stage, it is priceless. Since March 2010 Three Roses Players has produced 95 new works. The plays are submitted to us from around the world, with a heavy emphasis on CALIFORNIA playwrights. Three Roses Players is the home of THE WRITER SPEAKS and THE WRITER SPEAKS WINNER’S CIRCLE. These are ongoing one act festivals, in which the audience participates. The audience scores the plays and the two top scoring plays move into THE WRITER SPEAKS WINNER’S CIRCLE where the winning plays are joined by another one act from the wining playwrights. In February 2011 Three Roses Players started a film making company called ONE IN THE CANNES PRODUCTIONS, We are now making films of the most popular plays and entering them into the festival circuit including Sundance! The opportunities abound at Three Roses Players it is all about the LOVE for the CRAFT of creating!

Emerging arts organizations and projects that do not yet have 501(c)(3) designations may apply to the Pasadena Arts Council to act as a fiscal sponsor, allowing the organization to seek funding from grant makers, donors and corporations.
