PASADENA, CITY OF ART AND SCIENCE
PASADENA, CITY OF ART AND SCIENCE
Indelible Ink is a vanguard Performance Art Series conceived by Ink’s host, Monica Lee Copeland, The project delivers eleven new shows on the last Tuesday of each month (except December) at AKA Bistro in Old Pasadena. Ink showcases performance artists whose original work is avant garde: courageous, entertaining and thought-provoking. Whether its words, music, movement or a mélange of mediums, the artist communicates in such a way that one’s soul is indelibly marked. AKA Bistro’s elegant décor and historic architecture provide an incredible back drop to the theatrical experience without a theater’s overhead. This means that Ink can offer extraordinary entertainment affordably and compensate artists for their time and talent. With the spirit of inclusion, Ink selects performers whose backgrounds and viewpoints reflect life in the Diaspora. Ink rejoices in literature, art and the light it brings.
