Cherry Blossom Festival Southern California is a free event produced by a volunteer team and located in the Little Tokyo district of downtown Los Angeles. The goal is to produce a Festival that grows more spectacular each year, illuminates cultural perception of an already historic city creating more visibility, publicity and tourism, and exposing the mainstream population to the diverse Japanese/Japanese American cultural arts and history. With live entertainment, children’s activities, a Hawaiian Village and cultural pavilion as well as martial arts demonstrations and amazing food, the 20010 festival promises to be the best yet.  This year’s festival will be held April 10-11, 2010, in the streets of Little Tokyo, Downtown.
